It's rumored that tomorrow's Walgreens coupon is going to be $10/$30.
If you take advantage of any of these coupon deals, make sure you give the cashier your $x/$x coupon before any others. That way the register can recognize that you are indeed buying enough merchandise to qualify for the discount.

I tried using my $5.00 off $20.00 at Walgreens on Tuesday. I had $21.00 worth of merchandise. I tendered the $5.00 off $20.00 first. After I tendered the manufacturer coupons, the register VOIDED the $5.00 off $20.00 because I wasn't actually handing over $20.00 in cash.
YMMV.
Thanks for passing that on, Sally. I've heard of others having trouble with the register doing that, too. I know on Tuesday, the register beeped when I used coupons after the 5/20, but the cashier pressed something and it went through. I tend to have better luck with the cashiers making things work when I use the cosmetics counter checkout, but you're right--YMMV.
