Walgreens: May/June overlap deals

The following deals are only valid on Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31. If your store doesn't have the June EasySaver booklets displayed, print your coupons from the PDF version on the Walgreens website. Don't forget to use the $10/30 coupon for your deals on Friday!

Hawaiian Tropic products: B1G1 50%; use $2 May IVC and $2 June IVC. Some have also found $2 manufacturer's coupons at Kmart, further reducing OOP expenses. Some Hawaiian Tropic products are reportedly marked down by 75% in select stores. If that's the case at your store, this could be a moneymaker.

Schick Quattro Titanium Razor or Trimmer: (some have reported that these are on sale for $9.49, which would make it possible to get a bit of overage) use $3 May IVC, $4 June IVC, and $3 manufacturer's coupon from 5/18 paper insert.

Edge Shave Gel, 7 oz
: Use $1 May IVC and $1 June IVC.

Snickers 6-pack: Use $1/2 May IVC and $1/2 June IVC.

L’Oreal Feria Hair Color: Use $2 May IVC, $3 June IVC, and $2/1 or $5/2 manufacturer's coupon from 3/16 and 4/27.

I am wondering why it is ok to use two IVC coupons from two different months on the same item.

Anonymous,

As long as the coupons have different codes, it should be fine. Walgreens has designed the system and programmed their computers to make it possible, so I don't see any problem with it.

I am a corporate Walgreens employee. The manager of the Rebate program confirmed that one cannot use both a May and June IVC for the same product if they have the same bar code and are the same coupon (it would be like using multiple coupons per item). If your store does not let you do that, it is not because the store is not "being nice," it is because it would violate the agreement we have with the vendor.

E:

Thanks for that reminder. As I mentioned, I am only suggesting using two coupons if they have different bar codes. Using two coupons with the same code is, obviously, not an option.

I tried at two different Walgreens today (using June and May) and it was a no-go. :( Oh, well, the Titanium Razors will have to wait for another day!!

I did it today with the razors and didn't have any problems at all. I bought eight razors (two of them were trimmers), for $1 total. I used the May & June Easy Saver coupons, and then I had MFcoupons for each razor in addition to that.
