Walgreens deals: June 29 to July 5

Thanks to Money Saving Mom for highlighting these deals...

Deerfield Farms Shredded Cheese - $1.50/bag (I'm not sure if this is 6 oz. or 8 oz.--if it's 8 oz., this is a pretty good deal.)

Buy 2 Cleaning Products at $2.50 Each, Get $2 Mail-In Rebate (Mix and Match, Limit 3)

Buy 2 Oust Air Sanitizer Spray or Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner
Use 2 $1/1 coupons from 05/11 insert
Spend $3 out of pocket
Get $2 EasySaver rebate
$0.50 each after rebate and coupons

Buy 3 of Select Baby Products, Get $5 Register Rewards

Buy 3 Jumbo Packages of Comfort Stretch Diapers or Training Pants at $5.99 each
Use $5/2 coupon from July EasySaver booklet
Spend $12.97 out of pocket (it is possible that the above coupon might take off $2.50 per pack of diapers instead of $5 so your out of pocket total would be less)
Get $5 Register Reward
$7.97 for 3 packages of diapers after Register Reward! (or possibly only $5.47 if the coupon takes off $2.50 per package of diapers!)

Desitin is also part of the above deal. It is on sale for $5.99 and there is a $1/1 manufacturer's coupon here plus a $1/1 coupon in the July EasySaver booklet.

Buy 2 Post Cereals at $2.50 Each, Get $2 Register Rewards

Buy 2 Post Honey Bunches of Oats
Use 2 $2/1 coupons here, here, here, here (if you got the free coupon from the recent insert deal where you could send in the other cereal brand coupons and get a free box, use that one instead!)
Spend $1 out of pocket
Get $2 Register Rewards back!
Free plus $1 overage after coupons and Register Rewards!

July FAR items

TheraBreath Starter Kit, up to $10.99.

Hebert's Fully Loaded Chocolate Bars, 2.75 oz., up to $.99.

Nature Made Rx Essentials, up to $9.99; use $1 coupon from 4/20 or 6/1 newspaper insert. Or, if you're a Nature Made member and have points banked, request your own $5 or $7 coupon from their website.

Thanks for the HBOO deal scenario. I'm going to try it later on. BTW the coupons say that they are good on chocolate only.......does anyone know if you can use these on other flavors?

The RR deal on Honey Bunches of Oats is for 14.5 oz...and the free coupon is for an 11 oz. box.

These are great deals! I'm having trouble getting the HBOO coupons to print. Do you know the websites that these coupons are found on? Thanks!

do you know anything about RR not printing when you use a different RR on the purchase? Also i was told once last week that you couldn't use any coupon at all and have RR print. i have emailed walgreen's, but i haven't had a response yet.

Use the $5 off 2 packs of Walgreens diapers in the Easy Saver Catalog. If you buy 3 packs, it DOES take 2.50 off EACH pack, for a total of $7.50 of three packs. You do get a RR. You can NOT use RR and get RR. BUT, you can use manufacturer coupons. i.e. Johnsons body wash/lotion (BIG bottles are on sale) I used both a Easy Saver coupon AND a manufacturer coupon. It qualifies as one of the 3 for a RR. Any other questions, I work for Walgreens.

FYI, the coupons work on flavors other than chocolate. I just did it.

why i asked about the RR, is last week i had a P&G RR, and tried to use it on the Unilever food deal Buy $15 get $5 RR, and it did not work twice, so now i am afraid to try RR on any purchase that should produce a RR. Do i understand you in saying that a RR will never print if you use a RR on your purchase. I know you cannot roll RR's, i am not talking about that. but i have never before this last week had trouble using a RR for any purchase

thanks, it is great to have someone who works at walgreens help out

You can use RR on any purchase excluding Rxs, etc. I did notice this weekend, my sister was only buying one item. She tried to use both a manufacturer coupon and a RR. Wouldn't work. Only one 'manufacturer' coupon per item. I'm guessing RR's count as mannys. But, yea, you can't use a RR for a purchase and get another RR.

Just to clarify about receiving RRs...

You will not receive a RR if you pay with a RR from the same promotion. However, if the RR you are paying with is from a different promotion, it should work just fine.

Regarding the Unilever RRs--they have a history of being problematic, whether or not you pay with a different RR.

Finally, regarding coupons and RRs: RRs are manufacturer's coupons, so you'll need to throw in a filler if you already have a coupon for each item you're buying.

Can I still do the post cereal deal before this weekend? The coupons I printed out expired on June 30th. Is there any new coupon?

You should be able to do the Post cereal deal through Saturday. I don't know when you printed your coupons, but you might re-visit the coupon links and see if it will let you print them again.
